about

2011 was a busy year for Dave Lisik. Hitting his stride as a pedagogue at the New Zealand School of Music, and with the backing of Victoria University of Wellington, he launched into a number of recording projects with fellow lecturers, students, and friends alike, all fascinating examples of the maestro's unique musical sensibility.

This particular project with Colin Hemmingsen is one of the best, and little-known and largely underrated recording that stands as a shinning example of Colin's musical talent, as well as Dave's exceptionally creative production skills. Sadly over-looked, this album patiently awaits rediscovery.
